Rimmel Lycra Pro - 425 My Denim[/caption]I am not a fan of crème polishes I usually prefer mattes or glossy nudes but this colour is lovely. It is a nice alternative to the traditional darker nail colours that are associated with the autumn season. The polish is not a kitschy pastel blue, it's not in your face however it still manages to attract attention. Named perfectly it is a true denim blue colour.
There is 12ml in the bottle which is a decent size as there is a lot of product. The formula for the product overall is very good. The applicator is thicker than a traditional nail polish brush but this was intended to cover more of the nail easily, I do not like this s I am so use to the traditional nail polish thin applicator, however I feel perhaps the fact I have acrylic nails could've been a reason I was not comfortable with this. People who have normal nails maybe find this a more enjoyable applicator, my personal preference is just a smaller brush.

425 My Denim[/caption]The finish is very nice, it took two coats and a top coat to get this effect, however you could get away with not using a topcoat I just prefer it to make my polish last longer. It also dried fairly quick which is always a good thing. I do have a few qualms with the product, despite saying on the bottle it lasts up to 10 days, I started noticing chipping on day four and I do feel compared to some of the more expensive Rimmel polishes this one was a bit thicker and therefore harder to apply. It is however a good buy for its price (£2.99) so I cannot complain.

425 My Denim[/caption]Overall, I'd rate the polish a 6/10, it's my first Rimmel Lycra Pro polish and I wouldn't hesitate to get another one, good value for money and a decent colour pay off, it will not be put to waste and I am happy with my purchase.
What do you think of "My Denim"?
