My Daily Face

I only started really getting into makeup when I got into university. Perhaps because I had more time to think about it and working two jobs definitely meant I had the disposable income to spend on a lipstick or two...or three..I have a lot of lip products. Anyway, moving on.

I don't wear makeup everyday by any means, if I'm not leaving the house or only doing things that require minimal effort e.g. going to the gym or running errands in town. I'm definitely not going to put on anything. It's a waste of time, makeup and I like giving my skin a break.

I don't know about most people but I actually enjoy the whole act of putting on makeup. It's fun and I like taking the time with it. I love finishing and feeling like "Yessss I did that beat. Go me." Don't get me wrong it's not like that everyday and sometimes I just look at my face like "No." and it can put me in a bad mood despite no one else seeing why I'm so annoyed with my face. But majority of the time I feel I look okay. I do the same type of beat everyday so in this post I will be saying what I use.

Nivea Post Shave Balm -
I saw so many people talking about this on social media for a long time I just had to try it myself. I like knowing that there's that extra layer between my skin and the makeup that I'm putting on.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation Stick - Chestnut -
Love this. I'm not a big foundation wearer anyways but seeing it advertised everywhere really got to me. Norvina went ham on this. I totally gave in and I don't regret it. I got mine from LustreCosmetics.com and I did have problems with communication and getting my item but I did get it eventually. So all in all I can't complain.

NYX Eyebrow Gel - Espresso
Also love. Hello. Eyebrows that last all day. don't give me stress and only cost me £5.50? Thank you NYX! On my second tube of this, when I use it up I want to try the tame and frame brow pomade in the same shade!

LA Girl Pro Concealer - Toffee
I use it carve out my brows and under by eyes to hide my bags/highlight my under eye . Side note does anyone know how to get rid of bags? Mine have got worse with all the work and uni stress *boo*.

Sacha Buttercup Powder
One of my best makeup purchases by far. Another social media inspired buy. I don't bake everyday but I do like setting my concealer with this. I love the fact there's no flashback with this product and it doesn't leave an ashy cast on my skin.

Morphe 350/ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
Go-tos. When the 35O Palette came back into stock on CultBeauty I added it to my cart so fast. It came within a few days and it so worth the hype. My ABH palette was a gift from my boyfriend and an amazing one at that. I like wearing eyeshadow everyday but I almost always do the same eye looks; Pink shimmer, orange shimmer or a neutral brown eye with inner corner gold highlight.

Maybelline Master Ink - Matte
I wear eyeliner whenever I wear makeup. No questions asked. Fun fact eyeliner was the first makeup I ever wore consistently/bought. Without eyebrows or anything. I'm also a fan of matte eyeliner. I feel strange if my eyeliner is shiny. Don't know if that's just me.

Maybelline Miss Manga Mascara
Pretty basic. I just use whatever mascara is closest to me and it's usually this on my desk.

NYX Lingerie - Beauty Mark/NYX Butter Gloss - Praline
NYX killing the game yet again! Forreal though. I am a big fan. These are my go-to lip colours as I'm a fan of neutral and brown lips, I feel they go well with my skintone and just flatter me the most.

L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist
This is really good. I actually got it on a whim after my boots didn't seem to be restocking the NYX matte finishing spray. So I just got this as a replacement. I've ended up liking it and it's made me more interested in trying out more L'Oreal products as I don't believe I have any other products from them.

That's it. Writing it all down it feels like a lot but I don't really think it is. The longest part is most likely the eyeshadow just because I'm always trying to improve my eyeshadow game. Not quite an MUA yet but I'll get there!

What makeup products do you use daily?
