Hey guys no time no talk,
Well if I'm being honest I've left more time between posts, but that's not the point.
I'm back with a short but sweet post which is actually beauty related, different than my usual rambly posts which is a nice change.
I'm going to be talking about the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette. I got it as a gift and I'm super grateful.
The packaging is beautiful, a soft suede material, though it is prone to getting dirty when I get ready, but oh well it's beautiful to look at and for photographs.
It's harder to get ABH products in the UK as it is with most US brands, but some places I know stock many US brands.

These shadows can definitely be counted as WOC friendly in my opinion, normally lighter shades cause me stress as they won't show up on my lids, if they do they're often chalky and unblendable which is not a look I want to go for.
As fall is right around the corner, the colours are so appropriate, reds, browns and oranges and beautiful shimmer shades (I love Vermeer as a brow bone and inner tear duct highlight)
My favourite mattes in the palette are probably:
Red Ochre (muted dark red)
Cyprus Umber (pure brown)
Realgar (soft orange)&
Love Letter (perfect dark fuschia pink)
I find myself using these colours for everyday looks and topping them off with either shimmers on the lid or the inner tear duct for an accent.
Primavera and Antique Bronze are by far some of my favourite shimmers that I own to date. Both colours add dimension to simple eye looks and make me feel like I'm much better with eye makeup than I probably am.
Like I said, this is a short post but I just wanted to write about the palette, as I'm so happy to have it.
Ren xx

The colours are so pigmented it almost scares me, I haven't had to be so careful with applying colours, but the pay-off is amazing, simple looks seem so much more beautiful and well put together than they would be if I used eyeshadows of a lesser quality.
